Tamsin Collier
Tamsin combines almost 15 years of experience in visual design and fashion retail development with a passion for design, colour and styling. She is adept at creating genuinely collaborative relationships with builders and tradespeople on site, which bring rewarding results. Her creative flair, spatial acumen together with her calm, confident approach to projects perfectly suit her to realising any client’s brief.
Christian Staunskjaer
Christian has 20 years experience project managing new build and residential refurbishments. Equally comfortable working with architects or directly with clients, he is adept at guiding projects from conception to completion, as well as bringing together the designers and contractors best able to realise the brief. As a result, he is ideally placed both to integrate the design and installation of Armorel cabinetry, and take on a broader role when required. Christian has also recently achieved certification for two ultra low energy homes to the highly regarded Passivhaus Standard.
The company
Armorel is a small, independent company creating beautiful, bespoke kitchens for clients across the south east and London. Its highly skilled team, led by co-founders and designers Christian Staunskjaer and Tamsin Collier, is based in a studio and workshop set in the picturesque Surrey countryside.
Christian and Tamsin offer a holistic service comprising design, cabinetmaking, project management, construction, and decoration. They are also happy to provide broader interior and styling advice where desired. The pair take time to meet clients in their own homes to discuss their lifestyle, develop their ideas, and appreciate the context of the commission. This enables them to develop a unique, authentic identity for each project.
